Cycling, at last!

Yay! A bit of perseverance and practice and Euan is now relatively confident in cycling!

We started off from home and discovered that Rhona is now reluctant to go off on her own after a wee fall yesterday (turned too sharply going round a bend when i told her she was about to go the wrong way) that caused a bleeding nose and mouth full of mud! Helmet got a bit of a bashing too but glad she had it and her cycling gloves on! Today she screeched "hold me, hold me" whenever I left her side so it was another double length trip for me pushing one, running back to push the other.

By the time we got to the Greats, Euan almost had it and had gone a short way all by himself but steering was still an issue. We headed onwards to Granny's after the Greats visit and the back path proved to be a perfect gradient of hill for Euan to feel confident to speed on down. Used his brakes effectively too :) had a wee meeting with a lamppost near the end when trying to get started off and grazed his elbow but we weren't far from Granny's so a plaster and a play with Granny made everything alright.
