Childers Festival

The sleepy little town my folks retired to comes alive for one Sunday in July... attendance estimates vary from 8000 to 50,000 in a town with a population of just over 2000. They close the highway and have stalls selling food and goods along with bands, entertainers and children's rides. Not bad for a little burgh. Cracking winter's day too, must have been about 24 degrees.
