Pigeon Point

Had a fine time sketching at this site up the coast. A friend and I drove up and spent a very windy hour at this gorgeous beach. I haven't been out to draw for a long time and I forgot how enjoyable it is to sit and puzzle things out. Drawing water is enormously interesting--it doesn't hold still!

To round out the day we caught the musical trio Duchess at our local jazz club, singing in the tradition of the Boswell Sisters. Upbeat and fun if they're in your neighborhood.
