Glad Midsommar!

Today is Midsommar, a very important Swedish holiday. Me and mum went out early to get wild flowers and leaves. Mum says we used to make our very own maypole. This morning we just decorated the house, plus mum made me a flower wreath so I can be a midsummer girl. I don't think we're going to any official celebration, maybe we'll dance Small frogs just us.

Grandma and grandpa are here, and we have all had a delicious smörgåsbord with pickled herring and new potatoes. I got a prawn and a meatball. The flag is flying, everybody is happy, it is not yet raining and later, we're all having strawberries and whipped cream. And mum has promised me - a marshmallow Santa!!
