Midsummer / Juhannus

Entirely blue sky in the morning. Hiking up for 3 hours from Sertig to Jakobshorn through cow and sheeps herds alpine forest and even some now fields. The view down to where we started is in the extra.

Descending through flowery meadows to Clavadeler alp when clouds started to come in. Enjoyed as the only guest on the terrace of the "Käserei" (cheese dairy) fresh cheese and bread made today with a glass of white wine. Most of the mountain cabins are still closed, so we met all day only two bikers. Wonderful quiet up here.

Walking down to Clavadel and arriving back home after 6 hours. Thunderstorm and torrential rain started while preparing the BBQ for our four person Juhannus party tonight.
