Arbroath Harbour

A bright, sunny day.

A night of high drama as the UK voted to leave the European Union and the Prime Minister promised to stand down as a result.. However it was a mixed vote with England voting Leave while Scotland voted by a clear majority to Remain. Considerable Constitution problems will abound in the months to follow. I do trust that this will be accompanied by a kinder political discourse than of late.

To keep awake we went down to Arbroath for a walk/scooter along the coastal path into the Harbour. There wasn't much activity but it was rather a pretty view of the entrance to the Harbour.

A different experience of Europe awaits the Home Countries (apart from Scotland) and the Republic of Ireland as the knock out stages of the Euro Football Championships unfold next week. Life goes on lol.
