excerpts from a life

Today I asked dad to be driven around the outer skirts of the city to see what's around. We drove so far, then my father noticed we're close to a friend's mother's house in a nearby village.

My father's friend was with his sister, driving to his fiancées house when a car crash occurred; they both died. I couldn't imagine the pain of life afterwards...

Anyways, the mother was not home but at the city (during the week) but a neighbor saw us and collected some cherries, raspberries and greens for us and sent us home. We had to rush back because my father had a business call, but it was a very nice day overall.

This photo was shot at the backyard of the mother's house, at the barn. Lovely.
