Strange Day

I woke at around 5:30am this morning to the news that Britain had voted for Brexit and I was shocked. I couldn't stop watching until the last votes came in, even though I knew that it would not change the actual result.

We went out early to get away from all the politics and headed to Moore for a morning of birding.  
There were a lot of babies around to cheer us up - mallard ducklings, great crested grebe chicks, moorhen and coot chicks.
But then the rain came so we went to Aiden Byrne's pub in Lymm - The Church Green. It's not cheap, but it serves very yummy food.
An afternoon nap and now I have to pack for a week in Canada.
