A day like no other

The sun rose as normal.
The sky was blue.
The birds were singing.

None of that lifted my heart like it normally does. All this talk about hope - but, I feel scared for my kids. Again, today's youth have had another kick in the teeth from their elders. No wonder they feel disenfranchised and increasingly care little for politics and politicians. You reap what you sow.

Today the world is grey. Only grey.
