Before visiting the marvellous Saltaire Mill area in Yorkshire we stopped at Haworth where I noticed this sculpture. It was made for the start of the famous Yorkshire section of the Tour de France cycle race in 2014 and has 28000 of the magnetic twopence coins. I thought it was quite relevant to the results of the Referendum as

"The piece resembles strength in unity when faced with adversity ........ It stands for something that transcends all human boundaries and that is a collective determination to achieve beyond expectation"

Recent claims and counterclaims have caused disruption in the run up to yesterday's referendum so my hope is that the very close result will not cause any more disunity and that our fears will not be realised.
