Illegal immigrants ?

A misguided sense of public duty
prompted me to enquire - only to
be assured that this was simply an
exercise routine. The rafts had not
just arrived but were being assembled
for a race between two teams with
each carrying their raft up the cliff
and onwards to the Mere. Unusual
activity indeed at seven in the morning
and not for the faint hearted !
