Discovering a late passion for the national team (sporting the Lidl kit, the only one officially recognised by Dad, Minister of Household Finances). 
It has to be said that his classmates did create quite a racket yesterday morning in the school yard, a jumping green blob of unruly hair, emerald jerseys, skinny legs and shrieky sounds. 
Long may the elation last (my guess is until Sunday afternoon). 

It's good to see people happy.
