Spider Rock, Canyon De Chelly

We made our annual pilgrimage to this our cathedral in the dessert. Spider Woman lives on this 800 foot tower that was formed 230 million years ago. It was Spider Woman who taught the Dine (Navajo) people the art of weaving. Through many generations, the Dine have always been wondrous weavers. Our house is full of weavings by Dine women.
