In da Blue Mountains

It's been a lovely sunny day and really calm.  There has been a nip in the air and even patches of snow, as we drove up the mountains.

Up early and picked up by our guide and headed on tour for the day, with the Blue Mountains as our goal.  Our guide got lost in the Sydney streets to start the day but we finally made it out and first stop was at Featherdale wildlife park.  I got to pet a koala, feed a kangaroo, see a cassowary and see much more, great start to the day.  Then off in to the Blue Mountains.  A stop at Katoomba, various stops and the to the Boiler for lunch.  After lunch we went to Govetts Leap and to the botanical gardens.  Had a super day out.  This evening we went for a steak at the Meat & Wine co, with fireworks over Darling Harbour during dessert.  Maybe try a pint later :)

Loved my trip out today and great views every corner turned.  Here was spectacular, looking down the Jamieson valley, with the Three Sisters behind the cable car.  Taken at Katoomba, Blue Mountains.
