A View fae Voy

It’s tricky trying to photo the Stenness Loch but that’s primarily down to its size.  Some brightness early on but then it truly dulled down.  As instructed I returned to HQ to weed the polytunnel; the midges became a pest.  I then had to clean out the kye’s bath, wash the car and sundry other mundane drudge’s jobs.  She shows no mercy.

We dined in style last night courtesy of His Lordship who entertained us at the Stromness Burger Van.  The Spam en croute was divine.  The hospitality was tip-top.  Much later HL and myself were mortified when our wimmin folk took a right fill of drink and entertained the good burghers of Stromness with all known verses of ‘Eskimo Nell’ well into the early hours.

This has induced a trial separation and we will see the EH contingent next year.
