13 years

It was 13 years today I said goodbye to the woman that raised me. The patient, loving, kind, grandmother that after raising 3 children as a single mother began another 18 long years raising yours truly. We have so many memories I hold close to my heart. Like the times I cut my own hair, how my Bopa and I'd pour cold water on her in the shower, pack up her clothes in a bag and leave them on the front steps for laughs...but we also had fun memories of singing to Aerosmith, playing fashion show, hiding things from my Bopa and going out to eat ordering the expensive meal. I will forever be grateful for her love and shaping the woman I am today. I am named after her, Sandra, so she is near me always.
