Pink

Peony.

It was gorgeous again this morning and I had a quick trip around the garden with my camera. These pink peonies are at last in full flower and I was thinking how lucky we were not to have had heavy rain! Mid afternoon the thunder came with heavy rain! I haven't been out to see if they have survived but I'm glad I caught this one at its moment of perfection.

I saw a 'miner' bee on one of them. It really struggled to get out of the depths of the flowers but he was heading back down again for more.
