Watched with pleasure the diminutive Slovak, Dominika Cibulkova (5' 3") win the Aegon International Tennis Championship in Eastbourne against her 6' + opponent, Karolina Pliskova.

Lovely to see subtlety, intelligence & terrific mobility win out against brute force.

In the extra you can see Pliskova's coach giving her a "Bla-di-bla bla - rabbit rabbit - bla-di-bla" pep talk & her silent, "Wha'ever!"

Later I watched Wales beat Northern Ireland in the UEFA - yesss!
