The Feast of St Antonio

St Antonio of Padua is the patron saint of Anzio and today was his feast day.

A solemn procession starts at the chapel and winds through the town and finally out to sea during which the land and the sea are blessed.

We had an excellent vantage point as the procession passed directly beneath our balcony.
