Daylily

If nothing else, we do have daylilies and I was hard pressed to decide which to choose. I think the light was best in this one.
Another hot, windy day. Today is the Mexican Fiesta at St John Church in Lawrence, an extremely  popular event in this town. Lots of good food, all home made and authentic, and Mexican dancing which is very colorful and lively. We used to go regularly but those days of sitting in the heat are past!
