Craft Time

Still down in Sheffield visiting ArcaneSpark and the grandchildren.  It was a very wet day which included some hail and some thunder and lightening.  The result was all our plans for going places and doing things were shelved.

Part way through the afternoon ArcaneSpark asked the kids if they would like some "craft time".  This was greeted with enthusiasm so they began to dig things out of the "craft box".  It turned out that that the  favourite and therefor requested activity was finger painting!

I hadn't realised until today what a brave woman my daughter is!  There is no way I would set two young children off to finger paint on an unprotected dining table.   However all worked out OK but the precaution of taking D's T-shirt off was probably sensible.  In this shot D is considering where to place his next potato print having moved from using his fingers when his Dad (who was preparing a meal) presented them with two carved half potatoes.
