I love my life

I saw this on the grassmarket on the way to the Farmers market and thought it is quite appropriate for how I feel at the moment. The news has not quite sunk in yet, and I am very worried about our future. The speech from Nicola Sturgeon saying that "people from other EU countries who have done us the honour of choosing Scotland as their home are welcome here" brought a tear to my eye. I feel like I am walking on eggshells at the moment. I don't look "British" and still have my German accent, but I had the feeling that people were particularly nice to me today. Maybe I am imagining it, but it made me happy!
