Washing in Mumbai

My first day in India. Mumbai. After a reasonably good night's sleep we went off to see the city. The first stop was what is billed as the world's largest open air laundry - Dhobi Ghat. The washers are known as Dhobis and take in washing from hotels and hospitals. When we were there it was not very hot but they sometimes work in 100? heat.
