FROM LIZ & THE REST OF US WITH LOVE

We attended a party to celebrate Vera's 100 Birthday today, she has seen a lot in her lifetime including the comings & goings of 25 Prime Ministers & hopes still to be around to see the 26th!
The two biggest smiles came when she opened her card from Her Majesty, the family had held it back until the guest had arrived, and when she saw my big ugly mug, she had to move out of her little flat a few months back due to constantly falling (or gracefully gliding to the floor in her words), some nights I'd have to call the ambulance three times to pick her up and whilst waiting for the paramedics to turn up she'd tell me story's from her past, her husband, places she had lived, her work, children, always interesting it whiled away the hours till help was to hand.
God Bless Vera and let's hope we can do it all again next year.
