Florence Again

Return visit to Florence.

Hoped to take daughter to the top of the Duomo but the que was just too long. We climbed the tower instead and actually, I think the view is better from there as you can see the Duomo as well as the city.

Followed this with an ice cream to cool down.

After some shopping we went to the Galleria dell Accademia to see Michealangelo's statue of David. It still impresses me. I think daughter was just as impressed as we were the first time we saw it. The copies in the city do not compare.
