The race leaders...

...scooting through the rain.

This was taken just before Richmond Park on the run in to the finish. We watched the outward run at the other end of the park and cycled (via a beer/coffee stop to avoid the rain) to a pub directly on the race route. We watched the race on a large screen outside (undercover) and then jogged outside to catch the riders' return. They arrived about 5 minutes after the downpour!

What a fantastic race, so much more enjoyable than yesterday's. Another brilliant atmosphere although we've now got perforated ear drums caused by an enthusiastic Dutch woman at the race finale.

A nice evening planned and then just the small matter of loading the panniers and cycling back tomorrow.
