Armed Forces Day..

In Skipton today.  A chance to show support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets.
This chap was part of The Yorkshire Regiment... you can just about see his cap badge showing so.
Also I noticed a 'Desert Rats' badge on his sleeve.... I'd be interested to know what that indicates if anyone knows?
Oh, the Lancashire Militia were there too - firing canons... the noisy so and so's!... See extra.
