Wild daisies....

....along with all sorts of other native wild flowers that we saw near the Lake on our walk this morning. Last year "The Friends of Grant Park" had blocked off a large area of land just West of the observation deck in order to work on returning that land to more of a natural prairie like it would have been in the past. It's really coming along, and has attracted lots of bees and butterflies and humans taking pictures! Ha! (There were 3 of us wondering around with cameras). These are my most favorite type of pictures to take so it was hard to choose just one!  
I've been a bit behind on comments, but it isn't my fault--blame it on George R.R.Martin, who wrote the "Game of Thrones" series--I've been staying up past midnight the last several nights & still getting up early just so I can continue reading; I'm almost done with the 3rd. book & they just get better and better!!  (And I've only had to hear: "I told you they were great!" from my daughter a couple of times! Haha!)    :))
