Many things made me smile today - not least your response to my holiday snaps so far - and this chap - wearing medieval dress - about to take part in a re- enactment of life in Florence in the 15th Century

Had a walking tour of Florence - a stunning city - so many impressive buildings - and statutes - many made from marble - walked across the Ponto Vechio - and along the banks of the River Arno - so many things made me smile
