Escapism.

Feeling as though everything - and all normality- is in free fall, I decided we needed a mood lift and took H out for the day to Paulton's Park to play. 
A trivial diversion, but we enjoyed some sunshine  - and some smiles - on the rides, and it was good to see him having fun. (He is far too susceptible to my moods....and worrying about the future of your country is probably not the best occupation for an 8 year old.)
