Sizergh Castle

We managed a run up to the southern Lakes this afternoon and visited Sizergh Castle.Had a look around the gardens before the rain started.The herbaceous borders still looking good despite the heavy rain over the last couple of weeks.


Nice to be away from the terrible news and now the political blood letting.Just when the country desperately needs a steady hand and good leadership the two main parties are fighting amongst themselves.Maybe it is time for a new party that leaves the left and the right behind.Still hopeful that the petition for a second referendum will win the day and sense to prevail.However sense and politics are words that seldom appear in the same sentence.
