Green peace?

This is up at the end of our road, quite impressed by the drawing. United utilities are planning on building some kind of storm drain (so they say) on the green opposite our road. A lot of people haven't taken to kindly to this. United utilities have told us one thing and the people campaigning against it have told us that they are basically full of £@$£! On one hand there is a problem with local flooding and on the other why on our green? Considering United utilities offices (nearby) are moving and the land would have been perfect for this storm drain but instead they are selling it for a massive profit to someone who is building flats there. The jury is still out with me.
