East side gallery

So Roz and I headed off to Berlin for a couple of days. We booked it to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

We arrived in early afternoon and checked into our apartment which was really nice and down in a part we hadn't stayed before. It was scorching, at least 32 degrees and clear skies and sunshine so we went out for a wander. We were right round the corner from Five Elephant coffee so we grabbed coffee and cake from there then headed for dinner as we had an early booking at White Trash.

From there we had a wander up to the East Side Gallery for a look. The plan had been to go to Museum Island for a look as it was free to get into the museums on a Thursday but I got a message from Alan on Facebook saying he was playing at a club near our hotel and inviting us along. so after the gallery it was home to get freshened up before heading out at 1am.
