In pursuit of the great British icecream

Today I ventured into my neighbouring County of Cheshire for lunch with my cousins. Steve produced a wonderful lunch, thank you, and apart from catching up with our families etc. my visit was in celebration of their Mother's impending 100th Birthday next Thursday. Happy Birthday Aunt Joan and I hope you will be able to make your real party next weekend. On the way home I saw this year's marvellous straw feature at Snuggleberrys. It represents all British Olympians, but in particular a great many cycling Olympians, many of whom are based in the North of England. The ice cream there was very good too.
