The Red Lion, Hunningham

The Red Lion was looking splendid in the sunshine today. It is beautifully situated by the river and it is reached via a narrow stone bridge. It is usually packed on summer days and particularly at weekends. The one drawback is that it is prone to flooding and has suffered seriously three or four times. Consequently, it changes hands quite regularly as owners sell up and move on to higher and better hostelries.
