Port Hood Beach.

Back in the mudroom this morning....getting started on the beer mug order.   Then Terry and I drove out to the other side of the island, to Port Hood to deliver an order to a gallery there!   It's a beautiful area, and the gallery is very close to the beach.   So after doing business we headed down to the beach.   So fabulous to walk the beach in the early evening cos everyone has gone home for dinner...so we had the place to ourselves basically.   Sat on the rocks for a while...see extras, and then up to the restaurant owned by the woman who owns the gallery.  It was delightful...sat on the patio and watched the sunset!  

On our way home we experienced the end of the sunset, which was fabulous.

We also did a bit of back road explorations!   We're seriously thinking about buying a trailer to pull behind the truck.    The idea of getting away for 1 or 2 nights during the busy summer months is something we're talked about for a while.   In the dark, Terry turned down this dirt road, turned out to be an old logging road and we actually found a little spot that would suit a trailer well!   Anyway, it prompted some interesting discussions about the pros and cons of trailer camping!  We're definitely not interested in those trailer parks...side by side...sounds like torture to us......anyway, lots to explore!
