Damsel Fly

This poor damsel was entrapped in a cobweb outside my kitchen window this morning. I tried to rescue her but found unfortunately she had not survived her ordeal. However, I brought her indoors and took a few shots. Her wings are beautiful but she seems to have lost two legs. Most of the day spent preparing another patch to sow some white clover. Last years is doing well and is in flower now  -  see my extra.  Sunny here but very windy.
