Wonderful Walk

A sunny afternoon in June, in a flower meadow - does life get much more perfect than that ?

The butterflies and moths were abounding.  Meadow browns, like my blip choice, were everywhere and energetic. There were ringlets, skippers, a solitary small tortoiseshell, and just a few six-spot burnet moths. I did find the Common Blues (and on this occasion, I've chosen the softness of the meadow brown rather than the flashier little ones)

"We are in uncharted waters"... and all the other political mayhem..... I left the nerves behind in the hour and a half that I could spend with the natural world.
