And the rain came down?.

This was not my intended blip. I had lots of ideas for a sunny day blip but that will have to wait.

After a sunny morning a few threateningly heavy drops bounced off the kitchen roof and then the heavens opened with hail and a thunderstorm. It was all over in half an hour and was quite impressive. I like the diagonal lines and the sheer weight of water.

Just a pity I hadn't taken the washing in first.

Spent a good part of the day in awe of the ladies' Olympic road cycling. It was a great race and wonderful that Lizzie Armistead won the Silver medal.
