8:30pm, just back in from the garden where this was taken. We have a few flowers coming out on the bushes in our garden - it seems like they've taken a lot longer to bloom this year.

In fact, I think the real reason is that we didn't plant any bedding this year as it was so wet. So we've had a fairly green and standard outlook for a wee while. Makes this seem all the brighter.

I think absence makes the heart grow fonder.
