X is for Xyloid

Xyloid: of or having the nature of wood. Not that my arms are hewn out of wood, nor did I spend the day carving my arms from a tree. But I did spend an hour learning how to work with displacement maps, and transferring the texture of one object onto the form of another object.

If only I'd had a Xylophone - it would have been so much easier!
