Bird's-eye View

Literally!

As I was standing on my step ladder to replenish the high bird feeder, I decided I would take a photo from that viewpoint for my blip. I descended from the ladder, got my camera, and climbed back up. 

I was about to turn around to shoot the photo, when I realized that my head was very close to the rear end of a chickadee happily feeding on the new suet cake. The bird sensed my presence, turned around, and gave me a "what are you doing here" look. I don't know which of us was more surprised. He decided not to pose for me, and flew away to tell his friends about his strange encounter.
