The New Forest

Last night I travelled down on the train to London and stayed with Emma and Nick for a few days, which is lovely of them to put me and Stuart up. Today we travelled to New Forest where we went through gorgeous picturess villages which looked as if they hadnt changed for a hundred years or more. The new Forest is renown for its wild horses, which roam in the parkland and I managed to capture this shot of a foal hiding in the bushes. Afterwards me and Stuart took a walk along the river in Fording Bridge before heading into a wee cafe for afternoon cream tea.

This evening we were invited round Emma's sisters for dinner where we got to meet lovely Lucy who has had a hard start to life being born autistic but is the most lovely little girl. It really makes you really feel for the people whos daily life is dedicated to the care of others and what strength and sacrifice it takes to be so selfless.
