In a mud-dle....
Glastonbury, is my idea of hell.
Not the music - I love the music - but everything else about it. The mud, the gazillions of people squashed together, the mud, the chemical loos, the mud, the fast food, the lack of showers, and did I mention the mud?
Many years ago, my friend Corinna and I went on what we thought was going to be a glamorous holiday to Switzerland. However, we accidentally ended up spending a week at scout camp instead (don't ask - it's a very long story).
At first, we were horrified....we teetered around the site in high heels and floaty dresses, looking for the exit sign and a plane home. But once we discovered that a) we'd been put in a massive teepee with 8 very handsome Swiss scout leaders and b) there was a fridge in the tent, full of Lindt and alcohol, we decided that life wasn't so bad after all.
And the only time anything muddy was mentioned,, was when we taught the Swiss boys various vital phrases....cheers, sláinte, and mud in your eye....
PS It's WildWed13 tomorrow!!!
