Whit you lookin' at big man?

Little Grebe versus Swan. This after being woken at 6am by one of the chooks have a squawk. Didn't appear to be any reason for it; but they got let out for a bit to calm down (with Ruby looking like she may not be long for this world :( ) before I got them back in and went for a regular Sunday morning Figgy wander.

Despite the early rise, and a major tidy up of the front garden, and fixing a security light in the back, it felt like a pretty relaxed day in between the showers.

Oh, and stepped back into childhood heading to Hobbycraft for Mel to get a couple of things. I've pondered getting some pastels and black paper for a while, used to sketch with them all the time years and years back. The result was a 5-10 minute sketch, which confirmed how fun it is, and next one I'll take a bit more time over.

But now it's almost the end of the weekend, and work beckons, and there are Olympic events to be watched (great seeing Lizzie Armitstead getting a silver earlier, and Becky Adlington has just got herself a bronze).
