Dereliction

An early entry for Derelict Sunday. We visited my favourite hilltop town today, Oprtalj, devoid of tourists and the place where Anthony Hopkins has a villa. The town has the most splendid views and is a town of contrasts with buildings indesrepair and others looking quite splendid. This building has certainly seen better days but could be restored making a great project.
I have now found out that the theme for Derelict Sunday is nature. Well nature has certainly played a part in making this building how it looks today, maybe neglect has played it's part too.
