Elderflower cordial

It is that time of year when English folk start to think of making Elderflower cordial. Ours has been steeping for the legislated four days and has just been bottled. Every year our cordial seems to take on a charachter of its own. 2014 was a good year whilst 2015 was frankly not great.
A chance to start putting the house back together after a hectic two weeks with visitors. The bad news is that it has also been seen as an opportunity to go back on the diet.
Today was warm - presumably presaging the late arrival of the summer proper.
