Felt outrageously serious today what with all the nonsense in the news and a raging sore throat. We took a walk to the park, I found a bench I hadn't found previously sat upon and I was grateful to be led beside still quiet waters.

In the evening we went to a meeting at Eve's new school and picked some bits of uniform and her book bag. Eve is really excited about it all.
