Sambucus Nigra Black Beauty

The Black Elder has lovely pink blossoms then black berries like the elderberry has. This is its first year, it can grow quite large so needs pruning each year to keep it in check. It makes a pleasant change in a usually green shrub border but mine is a stand alone at the bottom of my front garden
