A Shard of Rainbow

A stop to capture the suns rays in the clouds led to this chance sighting of a partial rainbow when I turned round to look the other way. I have never seen one like this with rays streaking out from  the arc almost as if the rain has smudged the picture. In the extra you can just make out the faint double of the arc.

Feeling very excited as just booked a return visit to Iceland with my good lady for Feb 2017 :)
